Pastor, professor, and father of five, Tony Merida has quickly become a leading voice in the growing movement for adoption and orphan care. His passion for the fatherless is evident through his writing, teaching, and speaking.
Merida’s itinerant ministry includes preaching at various youth, college, and church events, such as Centrifuge, Student Life, Lifeway’s National Collegiate Week, Defend the Faith Apologetics Conference at NOBTS, chapels at various institutions, and others. He also teaches overseas at various seminaries such as Kiev Theological Seminary, Ukraine.
Tony and his wife, Kimberly, have five children—Angela, Jana, Victoria, James, and Joshua. They are currently relocating to Raleigh, North Carolina, where Tony will serve as professor of preaching at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Once in Raleigh, Tony will serve as lead pastor at Imago Dei Church, a church plant starting in September 2011.
