We’ve been hearing about stimulus plans all year. The focus has been on financial stimulus. But as we are nearing the end of the year and we are caught up in the busyness of Christmas with preparations for Christmas parties, Christmas presentations, getting gifts purchased, wrapped, and mailed to family, perhaps it is time to think about spiritual stimulus.

Christmas can be stimulating whether or not we enjoy the decorations, the crowds, Christmas music, Christmas movies, and gifting the people.  Christmas can be spiritually stimulating when we allow all these things to become reminders of God’s gift of love to people.

Love is the theme of Christmas. A phrase from a favorite song of mine is “there came to earth a promised man, so the love of God could walk among the people.”  The song is a reminder of God’s love shown to mankind in human form. We know this promised man by the name of Jesus, God’s Son, completely divine and completely human.

God’s love is a spiritual stimulus that you can access everyday. Open your heart today to His love and you will be stimulated!

By the way, don’t forget to download the Christmas Sampler  and leave your comments about one of  the book samples you read. I’m givingi away books to a few who leave a comment.
