Today we celebrate Christian Store Day. Take time to visit your local Christian bookseller and express appreciation for those who minister in Christ through retail. The economy has challenged many retailers, especially the independent stores with owners who have great hearts for ministering to the needs of people and sharing Christ through their business.

Yesterday the New Hope Publishers staff took the day to visit several Christian retailers in Birmingham to say “thank you.”  What makes these stores unique? Simply, the focus is on Jesus Christ. These are stores where you can find the best selection of important Christian content in the form of books, CDs, DVDs, and gifts.

Thank you again to every Christian retailer whose heart is for the Lord and His service. I pray that this day is filled with reminders of the value you bring to our communities each day.
