Wanda Lee’s passion for engaging others to understand and be radically involved in the mission of God is evident in her writing, speaking, and in her dynamic leadership as executive director of national Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) since 2000. WMU is responsible for helping to develop indigenous missions ministries in 47 countries globally. Lee’s books, monthly magazine column, extensive speaking schedule, and travel allow her to encourage and challenge diverse audiences.

Dynamic and focused, Lee has served at and encourages individuals in missional living—at the church and association levels, as a WMU president in Georgia, and also on the missions field. She brings this wealth of compelling stories from that service as an international missionary, registered nurse, executive, and as a pastor’s wife. Wanda and husband, Larry Lee, reside in Birmingham, Alabama, have two adult children and two young grandsons.
