Listen as Norman Blackaby presents insights on character from the life of King Manasseh. How far does God’s mercy extend? How far-reaching are the consequences of our sin?  (This case study is a *bonus* not included in his latest book: Character.)  Norman begins the podcast by addressing why character should be addressed from a biblical perspective.

In Character: The Pulse of a Disciple’s Heart Norman Blackaby and Gene Wilkes present an array of biblical case studies that illustrate how God shapes us into His likeness and how He can use us to accomplish His plans. You’ll learn how God worked in the lives of Moses, Joshua, Mary and Martha, Hannah, Joseph, Barnabas, Philemon, Ruth, and many others.

Blackaby and Wilkes write: “What determines if a person will live out God’s full potential for his or her life? We believe it is the issue of character. Character is the single most distinguishing aspect of a person’s life. . . . God cares more about chracter than our skills, personality, or intelligence because, biblically, character is a matter of the ‘heart.’”
