Results over character. Production over purity. The ends justify the means.

Sure, we expect this thinking from the world. But has this ethos slipped into the church?

Author Norman Blackaby says certainly it has. What can be done? Listen as the coauthor of Character: The Pulse of a Disciple’s Heart addresses this critical concern.

Authors Gene Wilkes and Norman Blackaby write: “Biblically, character is defined by the quality of our intimate fellowship with God. In our relationship wtih God, we find our moral compass, calling, and spiritual strength to live in an intimate relationship with Him and to complete what God has called us to do.”

Norman Blackaby teaches in the PhD program for the Graduate School of Leadership at Dallas Baptist University. He holds a PhD in biblical backgrounds and archeology. Previously, he served as senior pastor at 2 churches, and with his father, Henry, for 6 years as vice-president of Blackaby Ministries International.
