Download chapter 1 of The Story Lives On by Wanda S. Lee, executive director of national WMU® since 2000.

Rooted in Acts 4:12–20, The Story Lives On vividly portrays what has been seen and heard of God’s redemptive power through authentic stories of:

  • Radical overcoming through Jesus Christ—across groups and cultures
  • Victories in the battle against human exploitation, including trafficking
  • Passion for the Great Commission throughout generations

Wanda Lee hammers out a biblical response to human suffering, reports on the present passion of Christian leaders and laypersons, records past victories, and ignites continuing commitment to missions to “the least.”

Wanda Lee‘s passion for engaging others to understand and be radically involved in the mission of God is evident in her writing, speaking, and dynamic leadership of national Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU). Lee’s books, monthly magazine column (Mosaic), extensive speaking schedule, and travel allow her to encourage and challenge diverse audiences around the world. She has experience as an international missionary, registered nurse, executive, and pastor’s wife. Wanda and her husband, Larry, reside in Birimingham, Alabama.
